Il ruolo del volontariato nel settore dei beni culturali

Le
associazioni di volontariato nel settore della valorizzazione e tutela dei beni
culturali vantano in Italia una lunga tradizione e una massiccia presenza sul
territorio. Attraverso il loro censimento e un’analisi dei dati tramite esso
ottenuti, viene proposta una valutazione dell’impatto che la loro azione produce
sul patrimonio archeologico. Alla luce dei cambiamenti nella legislazione del
settore vengono quindi esaminati i rapporti tra associazioni ed Enti
territoriali.
Il quadro che ne emerge è quello di una realtà vitale, portavoce dei veri
depositari del patrimonio culturale: i cittadini.
Volunteers'
role in cultural heritage - Volunteer associations working for the
exploitation and preservation of Italia’s cultural heritage can boast a long
tradition and omnipresence in the territory. Through a census survey this paper
takes stock of these associations.
An analysis of collected data serves to provide an estimate of the impact of
their work on the archaeological heritage.
It proceeds to examine the relation between the volunteer associations and
public institutions in the light of recent reforms in the regulation of this
sector. The emerging picture is a sector that is very much alive and which truly
represents those whom cultural heritage pertains: the citizens.
