Ipotesi su bivacchi in quota e nel fondovalle durante le battute di caccia mesolitiche
Giovanni Rizzi

Hypothesis about bivouacs in height and valley floor during Mesolithic huntings - The author examins some hypothesis about the hunting methods of ungulates, used in Alto Adige by hunters in the Mesolithic Era, by comparing them to technics used by present-day hunters, which can be considered very similar.
The most common technic must have been teams, made up of the strongest and fittest men, who hunted during summertime and during the love season, when the game is most vulnerable.
Even though this research is not supported by archaeological evidence (only a few lithic fragments, which testify the presence of game slaughtering sites), it offers a new contribution to the reconstruction of the Mesolithic hunters way of life.
