A lithic industry from Pontevecchio near Magenta (Milan) - The Authors describe an assemblage of material collected in a surface site during some archaeological surveys; this material consists mainly of flint tools, with few pottery sherds, and the finding of two fragmentary polished stone axes is remarkable. In spite of the lack of very tipical objects, the assemblage is regarded as belonging to the Early Neolithic period, with Bronze - Age presences.
