Mesolithic settlement in Pagnano - In 1972, the author discovered a surface Mesolithic settlement at Pagnano d’Asolo, Treviso, which was reported to the Authorities concerned. The lithic industry has been the subject of a degree thesis (Padua's University, 1977) with the assistance of A. Broglio, Human Palaeontology Professor at Ferrara University. It referred to a so-called "Castelnoviano Group" and dated to the VI millennium b.C. by analogy with other similar groups in north-eastern Italy.
