pottery from Laus Pompeia -
The material found during the G.A.M. survey in the area of Laus
Pompeia (Lodi Vecchio) includes 505 pottery fragments and 9 pieces of "pietra
ollare". The quantity of findings was small and it was badly preserved.
Due to the small quantity, the material was studied dividing it in on the
basis of where it was found and in two chronological groups: late antique
and post-medieval.
The fragments, none of which of particular interest, can be classified,
according to decorative typologies and shapes, with previous studies
within Lombardia.
